Siphiwe Enoch Gumbi was born in Soweto at house number 1414 Jabulani, on the 28 of March 1961. He is the eldest son of Mr Jerome Jabulani Gumbi and Mrs Emily Zodwa (Dlamini).
He is married to Busisiwe Thabitha (Tshabalala) and the marriage was blessed with three children, Mduduzi the eldest son and two daughters Duduzile and Ntombifuthi Gumbi.
